Grazia street party
Two days after moving into my new flat, amongst the chaos of rubble and dust I was asked to style the set for Grazia Magazine’s Royal Wedding street party, a very different scene to the renovation project I am currently living in. In a lovely cobbled mews in West London we arranged long trestle tables with mismatched Conran, Vitra, Moooi and Ercol chairs, along with garden chairs and some Ikea classics. The mews doorways were decorated with commemorative tea towels and the tables were piled high with gorgeous food by the brilliant Ravinder Bhogal. Once the bunting was hung and the vintage TV sets in place the editorial team turned up to sample Ravinder’s Beefeater Gin Earl Grey iced tea while photographer David Loftus recorded the scene.
